How can I order bloodwork to better understand my nutritional status?
Just ask! We can recommend supplements and dietary changes without bloodwork, but we suggest people to get labs done to better understand where their deficiencies lie. You can call the office at 419-331-2040 or submit your information in the contact box below.
How does stress and negative thoughts cause digestive problems?
When we are stressed or have negative thoughts, our body goes into sympathetic mode (sometimes referred to as "fight or flight" mode). During sympathetic mode, our blood and energy is directed to our brain and extermities to fight a threat or flee a situation. Digestion can only occur when our body is in parasympathetic mode (sometimes referred to as "rest or digest" mode). During parasympathetic mode, our blood and energy is directed to our digestive and immune systems to repair and replenish our body.
How can a spinal misalignment affect my nutrition?
Each nerve that comes out of your spine goes to your skin, muscles, joints, and organs. If the nerve is not working properly due to a misaligned joint in your spine, this could cause poor communication to an organ, such as your gut.
